''Love Lifted Me'' is the title of Kenny Rogers' first solo album for United Artists Records, released in 1976. This is Rogers' first solo effort following the break-up of The First Edition earlier that year. The album was a minor success, reaching #28 on the Country charts.〔http://www.allmusic.com/album/love-lifted-me-mw0000194214/awards〕 Three singles were released from the album including the title track (released as a single in 1975), which hit #19 on the U.S. Country charts and crossed to the U.S. Hot 100 by ranking #97.
